Continuation of the activities within the case „Lutka“

With the assistance of SIPA, the German Federal Police solved murder after 27 years

By taking measures and actions to document the criminal offences being investigated within the case code-named “Lutka”, State Investigation and Protection Agency (hereinater: SIPA) delivered information to the police of the Federal Republic of Germany (hereinater: German Federal Police) on the identity of an individual who committed a criminal offence of murder. The murder was committed on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1990.

After the checks carried out in the Federal Republic of Germany, the identity of the offender has been confirmed and the murder was finally solved after 27 years. The individual concerned was investigated within the case code-named “Lutka“. Against the afore-mentioned individual SIPA submitted a report on committed criminal offence and its perpetrator regerding the offences committed on the territory of Bosnia and Hercegovina to the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H.

Since the SIPA investigation team under the code name „Lutka“ actively continues its work aimed at solving a large number of offences of murder, robbery, extortion and other serious crimes, the additional results are expected in the future period.

The information SIPA delivered to the German Federal Police was of crucial importance for the investigation, once again proving itself to be a key partner in international police cooperation on the most complex cases.
