SIPA Police Officials Participated in the Trail

Police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) participated in the sporting event Jahorina Ultra-Trail held in Sarajevo on 30 and 31 July. Four races length of 10, 33, 84 and 125 km were held within Jahorina Ultra-Trail.

SIPA representatives took part in the most popular race MIDI. The start was at Kozja Bridge in Sarajevo, and the race was successfully finished in Jahorina via marked route through the bob track and Trebević. During the race, they had to cross a 33 km long track and a total ascent of about 2100 m, within the time limit of nine hours. Everyone who successfully ran the mentioned track was entitled to 1 ITRA qualifying point of the International Trail Racing Organization.

In the overall ranking, SIPA police officials achieved remarkable results in MIDI race, while they won three medals in the category of military-police. In the category of military-police women, SIPA female police official won first place, while in the men's category the first two places went to SIPA representatives.

SIPA is very proud of the participation of its officials in the mentioned sports event, at which they showed exceptional physical shape and endurance, and promoted SIPA in the best light.
