REACTION FROM SIPA

Regarding the criminal complaint filed by the journalist of „Dnevno.ba“ portal for the allegedly unlawful conduct of special investigative actions by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and a submission of an alleged "scheme of movement" and the content of the „eavesdropped“ conversations, with the aim of objective and truthful public reporting, we inform you that the Acting Chief Prosecutor of BiH, Gordana Tadić and Vice-President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH (HJPC), Ružica Jukić, have never been the subject of SIPA's work, nor subjected to special investigative actions. Therefore, no documentation could be made.

We also inform you that on August 28 and 29, 2017, the Internal Control Department of SIPA conducted an internal inspection regarding the conduct of special investigative actions, which revealed that no misuse by the competent organizational units of SIPA or certain individuals occurred. In addition, after the competent organizational units completed checks of all exit acts records of SIPA from 2017, no act or other documentation of similar content was found. Also, no act classified as "top secret" has not been recorded in 2017.

Since it has been established that in the specific case SIPA has never conducted any special investigative actions, as stated in the complaint, and reported by some media, nor made any act in connection with it, it is obvious that this is a forged document. In this regard, SIPA will, in cooperation with the competent prosecutor's office, take measures and actions within its jurisdiction.
