State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and International Criminalist Association from Banja Luka are pleased to invite you to 3rd International Scientific-Professional Conference on „Corruption and Money Laundering“ that will be held in Sarajevo, October 9th and 10th, 2009 (Friday and Saturday) starting at 10.00 a.m. at the premises of Terme Hotel – Ilidza, Hrasnicka cesta 14.

On the two day conference, scientific workers and practitioners from B&H, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Macedonia and Russia will present 45 papers in the following thematic fields:
- Investigation of causes and characteristics of corruption and money laundering;
- Preventive measures for suppression of corruption;
- Coordination of actions of police, investigative, prosecutorial and court authorities in detecting, documenting and processing offences of money laundering and corruption;
- Specificities and problems in criminal – forensics investigations;
- Education, professionalization, modernisation and specialisation of staff regarding suppression of corruption and money laundering;
- International cooperation on combating all forms of corruption and money laundering;
- Development of independent investigations of corruption and money laundering;
- Raising awareness of civil society and education of public regarding risks and harmful consequences of corruption and money laundering on overall society.
The main idea of the Conference is to gather the experts from different countries who will through discussions and best practice exchange contribute to prevention, detection and investigation of criminal offences of money laundering and corruption.

The Conference will be opened by the B&H Deputy Minister of Security Mijo Krešić and SIPA’s Director Mirko Lujić.
