“Lutka 2“- SIPA Deprived Two Individuals of Liberty for Obstruction of Justice

This morning (11/1/2016), police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) deprived individuals identified by initials BD (1968) and BŠ (1971) of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 241 of the CC B&H “Obstruction of Justice”.

Searches at three locations are underway to detect and seize items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

These activities were carried out upon orders of the Court B&H and Prosecutor’s Office B&H and in cooperation with police officials of the Sarajevo Canton MoI. The operation is result of the investigation conducted by SIPA investigators under supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office B&H.

The apprehended individuals are suspected of having induced, during December 2015, by using intimidation and promise of undue advantage, a false testimony of the witness with initials AS in criminal proceedings against NK and others conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office B&H and Municipal Court in Priština for the criminal offence of organised crime in conjunction with murder.

These individuals will be brought to SIPA premises for criminal processing, after which they, together with a report on grounds for suspicion of criminal offence and perpetrators, will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office in the shortest time period for further proceedings.
