FKKSS Summer School Participants Visited SIPA

In accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed between the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and Faculty of Criminology and Security Studies (FKKSS), around 80 participants of the summer school, accompanied by their lecturers, visited SIPA today (18/7/2016).

They visited the headquarters of the Special Support Unit where they were presented the organisational structure, competence and role of SIPA in the security system of B&H. Also, through the presentation of the unit and part of their equipment and tactical demonstration exercises, the visitors were presented the working methods and role of this elite unit in the fight against the most complex types of crime.

Yesterday, a police official of SIPA delivered also a lecture on “Crisis Management” and transferred his knowledge and experience gained during the work in security bodies and informed them about the ways of managing the Unit during crisis.   

Representatives of the FKKSS thanked for the reception and welcome and it was concluded that the visit and lectures of the police official were very successful and useful.
