Crimestoppers in February: 216 Calls and 31 Useful Information

In February 2015, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officials registered 216 calls to the Crimestoppers hotline.

In this period, citizens submitted 31 useful information about planned or committed criminal offences and their perpetrators, based on which the same number of reports was made.

The majority of information referred to the criminal offences of Illicit Trafficking in Drugs and Weapons.

Out of the total number of useful information, 31 of them, along with the reports, were forwarded for further processing to relevant police authorities in BH and SIPA acted upon nine information.   

Within this reporting period, 35 pieces of feedback were received from the relevant police authorities related to the information previously submitted via the Crimestoppers. Based on this information, two reports on criminal offences and their perpetrators were submitted to the competent Prosecutor’s Offices.
